Wednesday, 3/31 GRAVITY ROCKS!
Today, we finished our pendulum labs and almost EVERYONE came up with somewhere near 9.8 m/s/s! This is just what Galileo did back in the 17th century! GREAT JOB ALL!

Tuesday, 3/30/10
Today, we began Galileo's experiment using a pendulum. Students chose different "bobs" and used different lengths of pendulums for the lab. This will be the final grade for Quarter 3 in science! The lab is due tomorrow.

Wednesday, 3/24 Physics lecture is over!
Today, we finished the physics (Force & Motion/Simple Machines) lecture (#9) 3/22-3/24. Tomorrow, we will begin applying the formulas talked about today. We'll be identifying classes of levers and calculating mechanical advantage.
There will be a quiz on the lecture and all students were to print out their notes. If they have the notes when we have the quiz, they will be able to use them.
Bring calculators to class!

Monday, 3/22 PHYSICS RULES!!!!
Today, we began our physics unit (Force & Motion/Simple Machines) today with the Overview (#9) (N) 3/22-3/24. There will be a quiz this week, so be sure and bring your notes (from the Overview) to class.
Also, be sure and bring your calculators to class every day!
